She was standing there, sunlight bouncing off her waist length, auburn hair, an AI glove all the way up to her right shoulder, and a tub of KY in her left hand.
Standing behind a cow!

Been together ever since (25 years!)

Friend of a friend's girlfriend.  We met at a cook-out in Williamsburg VA. Got drunk at the Green Leaf the following weekend.  Drug her ass back to Louisiana.  That was in 1996.

Blind date set up by a fellow student.

Married 15 years, two kids. It's not been easy at times, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. I'd rather be poor with her than rich without her.

In college I got a job bussing at a chain restaurant.  My wife was a hostess and picked up a bussing shift to meet me and the rest is history.  She was the pursuer and I enjoyed that.
So we met by working at a restaurant.

Married 10 years together about 12

College. She had amazing eyes and I had asked if she wore contacts or if that was her natural eye color.  It was her natural eye color.

We've been together for about 8 yrs, married for 1.5 yrs. Out of that time, we've probably had only 3-4 major arguments that we worked on and compromised.

The secret is communication, trust, and compromise. She's a great woman, loves to cook for me, loves to shoot guns, and loves me.

We had a class together at Bible college.  She sat in the row behind me and a few seats over.  She said "hi" and smiled at me a couple of times on the way to her seat.  So..... I followed her to the campus book store after class one day and struck up a conversation.  We got married less than a year later.  Married for 11 years now with 3 kids.  Turns out she was just being polite back in class.

College in sociology class.

We had to sign up for two reports on certain topics and i realized when looking at the list, the girl that i had casually been talking to in class wasn't signed up for any.  She missed the day he explained that.

I emailed her about it and we started talking.

Been together 5 years on the 20th of this month and married 1 year on the 23rd of this month.

Absolutely the happiest 5 years of my life thus far.

At a party.  But I don't know that it counts because I'd have met him anyway sooner or later because he was a friend of my then-boyfriend.

First day of college, she poked her head into my room introducing herself quickly and asking if I'd seen one of her friends who lived across the hall. She lived just upstairs from me - didn't get to know her until 2 rather important years later, but that's how we met.

Met the wife at a bar.

A mutual friend was trying to hook up a friend who was a 27 year old virgin at the time.
My wife's younger sister was invited, my wife went along "just in case".

Ended up spending the entire evening talking to her, asked her out on a date, she said yes.
That was 19 years ago, we have been married for almost 20 years.

Met her at a private school, we were both music majors.  I dated someone else for the whole bachelor's program but got to know my wife as a good friend the entire time.  First relationship broke up right before graduation and I and my wife just sort of looked at each other and did a "why not?"  Been married 21 years and can't imagine marrying anyone else.  I mean this, if she died, I don't want to marry anyone else.  No one could hold a candle to her.

First wife and I dated in high school and got married during college.  We were married 19 years and had 3 awesome kids.  Met current G/F at the ER one night when I dragged a drunk in for clearance.  She was the nurse taking care of my drunk.  She had the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen.  We dated for 3 years and are getting married next weekend!
