I skipped out of the office early to shoot this baby, here's briefly what happened
-South African surplus, would fire, case would not eject. The bolt did move back out of battery, but not all the way back to eject the round. This was true of all the south african I tried. I fired 20 rounds of South African. It would easily eject the round by hand
-Winchester white box 7.62: I had three boxes with me. One magazine fired fine. Then it would not eject any more Winchester. I believe I did manage to get that magazine of Winchester to eject later (who knows) and the third box of Winchester would not eject. Same problem as the South African, except for one round I had a tough time getting out.
-UMC 308 oops- took a rubber mallet to get the bolt back on the one round of this that I fired. I also had to take the rubber mallet to get one of the rounds of Winchester out.
-Portugese-I fired a 170 rounds through it with no problems at all. Of course I forgot about breaking in the barrel properly-duh. Worked fine though. My HK91 has the larger triangular handguard with a bipod. The handguard on this PTR is a joke. It quickly heated up enough to burn my hand. I don't know what the HK thin handguards are like, but this thing appears to be a piece of plastic with no heat shield.
It ran through the Port like a champ and I ripped several mags off pretty quikly with no problems. The brass ejected far to front right, although one piece of spent brass hit my left fingers.
Editted to add-REALLY burned my hand [:(]
