Reminder to self - *do not sell to OP*
Nice way to drag a person through the mud without even giving him a chance to correct the problem first. |

They should give it to OP There has been some bad EE transactions on this site but to drag someones name through the mud after 20 min is bullshit. With two posts no less, one in the EE and one here. If I was the seller I would have called you to the Pit with memberships on the line. |

Quote from Crowboy:
It is the shipping parties responsibility to get the item to the recipient Period and not to make the buyer wait for any claims with the shipper. If the seller only stated that he was going to start a claim at the PO with no mention of sending a refund asap then Ghetto has every right to post this thread. I will not give him a -1 since he gave me a refund, it takes about 30 seconds to send money to someone via paypal, when he wouldn't answer if he paid to insure the full value of the item I started this thread and the EE thread and in case you guys haven't noticed the box is STILL SEALED, I pinched the box open on the ends to open it, it took no effort at all and the one small piece of plastic that he put in the box I guess to wrap the barrel was all that was in the box. For those saying that you don't want to deal with me in the EE that's fine, I ship that day or the next day so if you don't want to deal with someone with perfect feedback here, gunbroker end Ebay then have at it, I stand behind my sales, I package all of my items correctly and if someone said that they didn't receive an item from me and sent pictures of the still sealed box then I wouldn't hesitate to give a refund.

Devils Advocate: How does the seller really know you never received the barrel? Was there a note from the USPS saying the box was damaged? Did you buy insurance, or offer to buy it to insure against this kind of loss? In this case, those are very good questions. Typically, the PO will include a note or write on the package that it has been damaged in shipping. This can be verified by calling the postmaster. |

I always tape boxes on all edges. It prevents stuff like this. Seller needs to man up and refund money now.

On the bright side, you got a refund faster than the mods locked this thread.
