For some reason you seem to think that classes and studying are supposed to be your source of happiness/enjoyment in life.  Freshman classes are mostly boring no matter where you go.  You have to wait til you get to your major classes for them to get interesting, and even then its only with the good professors.   Having a degree will help you get higher paying jobs in the business world or let you commission and get officers pay.  Go to classes, do your work, then once you've done what needs to be done you can relax and have fun.  Take care of your responsibilities first whether they are in school or out of school.

And whatever you decide to do, do it at full speed with all your heart.  People around you will notice if you do things half*ssed and you won't get as far in whatever career you eventually get into.  Hard work always pays off in the end, but no one ever said it was all fun along the way.

As for dropping out of school now....many people drop out with the intention of going back later. Most people never do.
