One more good western by  Louis L'Amour (like the Sacketts) before Tom Selleck and Sam Elliot get too old to make it.

The Wheel of time by Robert Jordan.   Done HBO series style like game of thrones.  There is enough material for at least a dozen seasons.

I really think that's too much material even for 12 seasons unless the seasons were 20 episodes. The series is 14 books, and even 14 seasons at 10 episodes per probably wouldn't be possible. Hell GoT is probably going to end up being eight seasons for 7 books. I would love to see it as long as it was done right, but the problem is I can't imagine that it would happen.

Yeah, I did hear they replaced Keanu with Will Smith for John Wick 2.

After the boycott...I welcome the pandering. Hollyweird deserves the reckoning.

For real? Fuckers.

No.  Keanu is not practicing for the next film for nothing.

Also might as well add John Wick 3: War of the Underworld

Then the crossover John Wick vs The Punisher  Starring Thomas Jane and Keanu Reeves as they compete with each other in kill count.

Rated R for the epic level of violence the material needs to do it justice. It should should convey the same visceral

I'd like to see more WW1 war movies made. WW2 and Vietnam have tons, but it seems like all the WW1 movies I can think of have it more as a backdrop than actually focusing on the war. Like Legends of the Fall.

Can you imagine how busy you'd be watching movies/TV for the next few years if all these projects were financed right now???

Not to mention the whole production of each film, esp if the Hollywood elites can be kept out of the loop.

First thing I thought of, especially if they can pull it off with the same realism as Saving Pvt. Ryan.

'War Horse' was pretty good, but WWI was more of the backdrop story/setting, plus it had a Disney feel to it with the happy ending.

With all of the fantasy movies being made lately I suddenly remembered that not all of The Brothers Grimm stories weren't always nice. Remember Hansel & Gretel They shoved the witch into a burning oven.

I remember in about the 5th Grade coming across one of their stories.  I remember it as The Murderous Bridegrooms.  Wiki named the story: The Robber Bridegrooms.
In short the bridegrooms can be considered to be ancestors of Hannibal Lector.

Instead of the PG-13 movies, like The Huntsman, this movie would have to be R-Rated.  With movies like Saw out there done right it might be an interesting movie.

Adult versions of Grimm Fairy Tales.  How many of them can there be?
