I just ordered the DJI Flamewheel 450 with the NAZA-lite GPS at Atlanta Hobby.
It's perfect for a non-flying tard like myself. ALMOST crash proof and it will come home by itself if it loses contact with the remote.
My future for it is to turn it into a FPV platform.

My small stable. There's another larger coax in a box somewhere with burned out motors, and I still haven't worked up the courage to fly the Trex 250.

I've got a Unique DLG from HK... only one I could find for a decent price that didn't look like a pain. It's a nice change from constant 3D

Got my son this little guy for Christmas. This thing is fun as hell we have big vaulted ceilings in our living room its a blast to fly inside. I have gotten pretty good at it . I bought it on black friday online for $15 bucks I figured even if it is shit he will have some  fun and we could toss it. But is has been pretty bulletproof

I'd love to fly the 700-800 size, but I can't afford the batteries or crash costs.  They are fun to watch.

My Goblin 500 kit arrived a couple days ago.  Once built, it'll be the largest I own.  Plan to put 520mm blades on it.

Just posted this afternoon:  BNF trex 500 with spare parts for $260

I don't think you'll find one cheaper.  It's flybarred, but it's been upgraded.  Stick an RJX FBL head and an FBL controller on it and you'll be flybarless with a good kit for $400.

First flight of my new MSH Mini Protos today!  Just did a 4 minute hover in the yard and did some preliminary gain adjustments.

Saw this on the local Craigslist a couple of days ago.   Made me wonder if he needs a license to fly that thing.

This website is great.  It tracks your flights and shows a lot of stats.  You can track flight time, number of flights on airframe, battery, even props and blades.  And lots of other stats.

It shows I have 5.3 hours on the Trex,  9.8 hrs on the MCPX and 4 minutes on the MP.

ETA there is also an app for the site for updating flights at the field.

My Armattan 355 carbon fiber quad finally got here after being stuck in customs for a few days...

Fifth multicopter is on the way now. I'm all about airplanes, but the multicopters have bitten me hard

Nope, but 1/4 scale is a blast to fly, and both shocking and saddening when a years worth of building and lots of cash falls apart when your elevator comes loose.

I never really got into helos, just quads and airplanes.
