Quoted: Quoted: I prefer wearing BDU pants (not the jacket) over any other pants - why? Because they are so damn comfortable, I don't have to wear a belt, they have lots of storage, etc. View Quote Just out of curiosity, what is your carry method? Just wondering, because I haven't found a method (besides shoulder holster) that doesn't require me to wear a belt. Even a paddle holster doesn't work well for me unless I'm wearing a belt. As far as BDUs are concerned...I don't wear woodland ones, but I do wear black or kahkie(sp?) ones. I like all the pockets, and they are comfy as hell. View Quote Yup. I wear black, blue or kahkie pants just cuz their comfortable. I do have some Woodland camo pants that I wear when painting or just workin' round the house. |

I like to wear my Superman jammies. If you safety pin a red towel on like a cape you look just like the real Superman. [:D]

i don't wear bdu's to gunshows, but i do wear them to the range, they're current issue w/ my name on em (i'm in the USAR)... and i keep my military i.d. handy in case anyone wants to complain about my rapid fire w/ my AR, then i can tell them to shut the hell up and i think i can handle it (while showing i.d.)

My "Gore in 2000" T-shirt.
Now if I could just find a hat with sarah brady on it... |

You guys would of got a kick out of the portland gun show a few weeks ago.
3 mid 20's males show up with 1 12-13 yo kid. ALL are wearing WW2 Nazi uni's, clicker boots, blonde hair, etc, etc. I was laughing. I mean they even had the young kid with them, their youngin to teach. They totally fit the stereotypical view. I don't think it was a joke either. |

Mainly dirty looks.
What can you really do, if you were to speak up against them and oppose, you'd be just as bad as they. |

I wear the pants from time to time.
I wear them wherever I want to. They are comfortable. |

Quoted: BTW, what's the difference between the 230 and 232? View Quote Outside: P232 has a wider plastic grip than the P230. Inside: Changes in feed ramp and other machining to reliably feed hollowpoint ammo. Appartenly there was a problem feeding this ammo in P230s. Big differences when compared to PP, PPK. |

Where exactly would you encounter a plethora of purple in nature, and if you did why would you chose to run a "stalk" through it anyway? A lilac field? Maybe a field of heather? [/b] Who exactly is Heather? What does her field look like? The only time I wear BDU pants is to the range or when I camp. I'm always picking up brass,& I can jam a ton of it in the pockets. In the winter, I sometimes wear my camo field jacket, it's warm and comfortable. It has to be real cold before I'll wear any jacket into a gunshow. It's all top-notch clothing, it's a shame people are considered wannabes or domestic terrorists if they wear it, especially by so many people here. I've never been subject to the laws of the fashion police. I'm heading out to a show this weekend, I think I'll break out some camos. |

i wore my BRC shirt to the show last week. was hoping someone would comment on it or recognise it. nobody did. :( i usually just wear jeans and a t-shirt/sweatshirt. i do have camo and black BDU's though. (btw... what does BDU stand for? probably stupid question but...)

On occassion I wear Granimals
but mostly just plain pants t-shirt and the BDU cap. |

A pair of flip flops, a jock strap, and a light coating of CLP to make my back hair shiny. I also begin each possible deal by screaming "AIEEEEE!" while waving my hands wildly above my head and end each Conversation with "Thus is it done! By the will of Jupiter!" all the while "adjusting" my jock strap. I find most dealers will rapidly give me a better deal just to go away.

......I prefer to fast rope the roof of the gun show wearing Nomex, tactical vest, rubber MP-5SD, and raid jacket with "ATF" stamped on the back. After everyone figures out its a joke, we usually kick back, drink some cold beers, and go on our way looking for the Class III clearance sale section...........

I think the official gunshow uniform should be black BDU pants and AR-15.com shirt.
I like wearing the progun shirts to liberal hangouts too. I have been complimented for having the guts to wear it. |

I often wear BDU pants, not camos, just the old issue green (much faded). I'm just happy they still fit [:D]. The cargo pockets are a help if I'm picking up some small parts.
I do usually wear an Israeli field hat, circa 1956, which has been my shooting hat since I rediscovered it stashed with some of my old stuff 10 years ago. Since it has the Hebrew letters for IDF stenciled on the brim, I have had people walk up and offer to buy it right off my head--sweat stains and all. |

Some of the guys at gun shows should be wearing charcoal-lined cammies. I used to know a shop owner who I swore only bathed BEFORE going to gun shows! Water pressure at the motel must be better than at his house.
If you remember the late 80's, cammo was ok as along as you weren't wearing a belt of 7.62 and a headband. Then you were looked at funny. Same with the guy wearing white pants, a Hawiian shirt, a pony tail, sunglasses, and an Uzi. I hope the "Rambo" and "Miami vice thug extra" looks don't come back! |

I wear the tops quite often. They conceal my CCW and have big pockets to put the little trinkets that I buy in.
