I called Lindsey Graham's office for comment right after his attack on Trump. I said he should shut up (media comments) just as he says Trump should stop tweeting, and do what we (the people who elected him) tell him we want done. The intern laughed. They really do believe they have no accountability. Perhaps not the finest argument I ever made, but elected officials should remember that they can be held accountable by the voters.

I think they have gotten greedy, cocky and arrogant. The behavior of some of them could be considered traitorous or treasonous, especially when you watch them willfully refuse to sincerely investigate blatant crimes or enact the will of the people.

No. The majority of them appear to be chiefly concerned with getting re-elected and appeasing their special interests so that they can continue getting their kickbacks.

We should have 2 term limits, automatic felonies with minimum 20 year sentences for any type of bribery or illegal/immoral collusion and the ability to impeach our representatives easily. Say a 100,000 signatures submitted to a judge in your state creates an automatic vote/election for dismissal/replacement within 30 days of being submitted.

We obviously need to put all of our elected and appointed representatives, federal and state employees on a very short leash and keep them there. Seriously though, I doubt anything will happen before it's too late. Americans are generally too lazy, ignorant and complacent to get motivated enough to effect real change. They are counting on them continuing to sit in front of the TV bitching but doing nothing while the left has it's way with the country.

They won't until a real break-away party defects from the RNC and gains momentum. To be successful, it would have had to start immediately after one election cycle and build steam.

At the same time, that would give the RNC plenty of time to coax and buy them back into the fold. We basically saw a start and fail in this with the TEA party.

Bunch of these rinos ran in front of Trump in 2016. My R congressmen did by a large %.

9 months until our primary. No serious challengers. No one with any real money or name recognition. And, the local party is firmly behind the incumbent.

We don't even have a serious D in the race. So, I think a bunch of this primary talk is just wishful thinking.
