The black and white democrats are not appearing together right now because I think they have some pretty different views on this.  I wonder how that's going to shake out when the brothers and sisters realize they're being sold out on a regular basis...and not by the Republicans.

Those 2 Senators from NY were on board on one Immigration proposal that would have had 2 year residents going back home but when they appeared at rallies it was overlooked.

I just sort of see the Dems as abandoning the blacks for the Latinos, ....if they can.

*everyone* can get behind that, and a lot of people would.

we just have to start getting some members into various offices to get the ball rolling and break the ice a bit.

We can't agree on Colt vs bushy, 45 vs 9mm, glock vs whatever.

because 7.62, 5.45, and Kalashnikov are the obvious superiors.

I don't think people are craving unrest so much as they are craving a change or action of some type. One thing people in general ...SNIP... Where are we going to find men of substance to run for office?

Excellent post, that pretty much sums it up for me.

No, I don't think so, though I am afraid Bush and the republicans will bear the brunt of it all and we'll see a lot of democrats being elected at the next election.

I agree, Bush has really hurt the Repulican party. It will takes us years to recover the political damage that he has caused the Party. Unless the Dems run some total wack jobs I am afraid they will gain a lot of seats in D.C. when the election is over. Except for a few Patriots  both sides suck anymore.

If the Democraps keep with their line of BS......they will have 12-20 million new, grateful voters in their ranks.

replaced by.......

the beer, the dollar bill, the television set, the air conditioning unit

basically where the gov throws all that and says "here's your trinkets, NOW SHUT THE FUCK UP AND DO WHAT YOU'RE TOLD!"

After talking to many friends in Law Enforcement  I think it will just be a matter of time until these illegal alien rallys turn violent. All it is going to take is one fool shooting or stabbing an American counter protester, Minute Man or one of them killing an illegal alien. That will start a shit storm the Gov will not be able to stop. I hope this works out with out violence but I don't think that will happen. The near future looks like it is going to be very rough for most middle class Americans.

Keep your powder dry folks, this is going to be one hell of a summer.

So, which one is the lesser of 2 evils, like it really matters, the Bush family will be passing the torch to the Clintons again. 12 yrs. of Bush Sr., 8 yrs. of Bill Clinton, 8 yrs. of GWB and ? yrs. of Hillary Clinton.

Isn't it time for a different family, that isn't a Globalist, to sit in the Oval Office?

Yes I do have a dog.
If something happens to my dog....

Anyway, here it is:

Mr. President,

I want to congratulate you on your successful attempt to go down in history as the worst President since Lyndon Johnson. History may well determine that you have done more to damage America than even he did. Clearly, your policy on immigration will be a first rate disaster for America and do more to destroy our way of life than anything since LBJ's Great Society. You seem to have determined that the American People no longer deserve the nation they have come to love and respect and that it is better to hand it over to others.

Further, at a time when the country would benefit from smaller government and fiscal responsibility your administration has been one of ballooning trade and budget deficits. Your new socialist Medicare prescription drug plan may buy a few small number of votes for Republicans but will cost this nation and the Republican Party dearly in the future. I did contact all of my elected officials during their respective congressional debates for those programs and received replies touting the standard party line talking points but not one could answer my question which was, where is the money going to come from?

I have supported the Republican Party my entire life and it is now embarassing to see how Republicans have used their term at power to acquiesce to corporate demands while destroying the future of American workers and the middle class. You do remember them, do you not Mr. President?  They are the ones working to keep the American economy afloat while paying for burgeoning federal programs going all to often even to those who are not even citizens of this nation.  After almost 5 decades of waiting I do not feel that I am out of order in expecting better. No doubt it will be another 4-5 decades before the Republicans hold power again. Perhaps not at all as it is my deepest hope that the Republican Party is replaced by another.

In short, your Presidency has been an abysmal failure of mortgaging our future and betraying our country. I will not ever make the mistake of voting for any Republican candidate in the future.
