2 pair. In the top dresser drawer, right between the .45 and a box of rubber gloves.

You never know when you might need to detain and get rid of something you dont want your prints on.

I never saw them, but a co-worker of mine claimed he had a set of Colt handcuffs.

Supposedly they’re collector’s items.

My former agency used to have a bunch of Bianci handcuffs (the holster manufacturer).  They were junk!

Always liked Hiatts myself.

Yes I own a few handcuffs actually. My girlfriend and I like to practice cuffing each other for fun. But I do use handcuffs for work also working security sometimes. The hinged type cuffs are very difficult to get out of and I use those for work. The chain type cuffs are more forgiving if you are just having fun. I use Peerless and S&W hinged cuffs for work since they are given to me. But I prefer the S&W cuffs. I also have some S&W chain cuffs for fun, but they still hurt just the same when slapping them on. I also carry a spare key and some paper clips just in case.

I've got a set of Peerless chain cuffs for bad girls, and a set of Peerless hinged cuffs for really bad girls.

The really, really bad girls get the hinged cuffs and the ASP too!

Speaking of old school cop gear and Bianchi. Have you ever handeld a Bianchi Sap?

I have a cheap-o chinese copy. The leather and stitching are bad. I have a buddie that has redone his cheap-o sap with new leather. I might get him to do mine.

Never heard of a Bianci sap.

I do have an old Smith and Wesson sap (actually it’s flat, so I guess technically it’s a slap).

Many years ago, a coworker (of questionable judgment!) gave me a combination billy club and cattle prod, which I think still I have somewhere!!
