Jaded? Definitely. I think it stems from growing older and seeing life isn't everything you thought it was going to be when you were a kid.

For example:

As a kid and a guy in my twenties and thirties I use to live, breath, drink, and eat sports. I even felt like I knew the ball players and it was almost as if they were my heroes. As I've gotten older I could give a shit about any of them. Fuck 'em all.

And, along with growing older you see that it really comes down to "every man for himself" kind of thing. Which I actually like. To me, it's my family and me and a few very close friends. Everyone else I do not trust.

I don't know about jaded but I'm a realist.

The more I see of people the better I like my dog.

I am definitely jaded.  Not only do I not expect the best from people, I expect the worse.  Life in general made me this way.
