From any currently-living species, no.

From an ancestor we share with currently living species, yes.

DNA has never been shown to evolve or mutate from a lower life form into a higher life form. That is a major stumbling block for evolutionists.

You're so unique you share 98% identical DNA with a chimpanzee.
And 97.5 percent of our DNA with mice, according to some reports.

im not a scientist and never stayed at a holiday inn but i believe that life could have started all over the earth at once like mold and is still being generated today. most believe that every living thing has a common single cell ancestor but i dont, i believe there were many millions of whatever the first life was all over before they evolved to mate to live on rather than depend on the right conditions.

I am inclined to read the Bible literally, therefore the world was created in six days.

Also, the earliest people lived to be several hundred years of age, Adam lived to be 930, nothing wrong with reading that literally.

Also, whats wrong with the literally thinking pre-industrial age humans could build a wooden boat to hold a few folks and two of every extant species of life (of which there are only a few million), collecting them from around the globe and reproducing all climates on earth on said boat or them to survive on, for 40 days, plus food.

Serious.
