HK VP9 (better trigger than G19)
P226 if using for HD (bypassing DA trigger)
G19 for ccw

Sigs made in Germany are nice. The older ones made in W. Germany are the best ones, IMHO. The quality control took a real nosedive when they started making them in the USA. Sad but true. Some work well, and some have to be send back for warranty service right out of the box.

Pre-2005 seems to be the popular opinion.

Having shot the PPX, PPQ and PPS, I believe form follows function with the Walthers.

They may not look the best but they shoot well.

Good point about the functionality.  The PPQ's trigger is even nicer than the VP9 in my opinion.

They're still ugly though.

And where did that get them in sales?

Considering what they have been able to accomplish as of late, I don't mind the priority change.

And of course, nobody is talking about HK's pistol looks going downhill.

It isn't just the trigger that is better.

The 226 seems to have a lot of history, sort of like the HiPower.

I am intrigued.

Or perhaps, in Arfcom style, my interest is peaked.

Or the correct style, piqued.

and still lusting for a CZ Scorpion

All good,

It's a great 9mm suppressor host for sure.

And it's purdy.

The scorpion is nice. The only thing I did not expect was a super heavy trigger.

That really isn't a big deal since 6 pound spring costs next to nothing.

Good luck taking off the trigger housing screw though. I stripped mine right away because it was so tight and the metal was so soft.   Now I am waiting for an aftermarket screw to show up in the mail.

The Sig P226 was my favorite for a long time, I've had one for ever.  But I wanted to try something new so I bought a PPQ M2 Tactical after reading up on it.

The PPQ is hands down the sweetest shooting striker I've shot. The trigger reset is like a tenth of an inch, and it holds a group like a laser. As a plus it's designed to be shot underwater, in case you need a shower gun......

I was going to buy a VP9, but then I read reviews of the PPQ and it sounded better. I wasn't disappointed!

If we are including pistol caliber carbines, you have to take a hard look at the Sig MPX.

CZ 75b.

I bought one, then I got rid of my Glock 17.

Then I bought a CZ 75 Compact. Just sold my Glock 19. Which was the first pistol I bought for myself.

Get a CZ. They're more ergonomic than Glocks, have a great trigger (that you can make better), and they are crazy accurate.

You're going to regret that.

not a bad price!
It took me about 500 rds to become proficient with my 17.

I was a former 1911 fanboy, and really terrible with double stacks.

I've grown to love my 17 and 42.

I've even carried the 17 a few times this past winter, with heavy winter clothing.

Next purchases will be the 43 and then 26.

Choose your flavor of Glock, you did, other good choices that others may seek

Choose your flavor of Sig 226/228 or the new 320?
Choose your flavor of CZ
Choose your flavor of HK, bonus if P7

Not a Berretta handgun fan, but if you like them a very good choice

LA Police Gear Operator Patrol Bag range bag

I added some coroplast* sections to give the bag more structure and added 2in loop to the coroplast.

Just get a shotgun.

Vote P226 w/E2 grips and plethora of flush 18 round mags and a couple 20 rounders.

Or jump to .45 with a 30S and marvel at it 25 yard accuracy; well as long as you do your part.

However if your rent the 320 I bet you will end up buying it.
