Quoted: Colorado doesnt use NICS, we use a state run system administered by CBI (Colorado Bureau of Investigations) and it is a joke. Tell you what, switch to NICS and the cost to Colorado goes to zero, problem solved. That's what Kentucky has done. Even our concealed carry checks are done through NICs. No local system here. Liberals want local control so they won't defer to the Feds. The same goes for Obamacare which is why some states are opting out and letting the Feds handle it while other states want their own control. Actually it is the politicians at the state level that want the control and extra pay for administering a federal program. Perfect example of government corruption and inefficiency. |
