Say what you want about Jerry Jones, it was a truly AWSOME thing for him to open the doors at the stadium for the service. Over 7,000 people there.

Thanks for posting those videos guys! What a guy. Although I never met him, after reading his book I also feel like a pathetic excuse for a man next to that. Can't lie. I definitely had some tears. God bless his family and friends.

For those not from Texas, you need to understand this was treated the same as a state funeral.  The route was almost 200 miles on a major interstate (heavy traffic road) which was shut down for this funeral procession.  It was also in the middle of the week in bad weather so imagine if this had been on the weekend.  I have never seen anything to this magnitude in my lifetime.

My wife and was talking about him this afternoon - what a sad situation.  It was all I could do not to get choked up explaining all I knew - the fact that both who were murdered had families, the way the Seals honor their fallen comrades by placing their Tridents on the coffin, etc.  The Country really did lose a hero with this murder.

Began reading his book the other day...

I am heartened that there are others like him,

God, we need them.
