Mid-70s here yesterday, high-50s today.

Chemtrails, man

Yeah, weird.  Had to do a costume change from long pants to shorts after lunch today.

80's here I think.  Don't really pay much attention any more.  I can sorta tell it's winter because the humidity isn't sucking the life out of me and it's only daylight 10 hours per day.  If I want to be sure of what time of the year it really is I have to look at my watch for the date.

Colorado here. 52 yesterday and now 3 F. With the  low at 7:00am of -8. Snowing like crazy maybe 8" and expected all night.  I can't imagine how much the mountains are getting hammered.

Someplace in New Hampshere is expected -90 F. With the wind chill

Yep.  Procrastinating over coffee here.  I need to go out and shovel my modest walk/drive, then drive up to the folks for act two.

I was sweating like crazy working in the garage earlier wearing jeans and a t-shirt.  Very muggy and warm out, in the 70's I believe.  Supposed to get down to the mis-20's tonight when the front blows through.

We've been swinging up and down 30 degrees here in NOLA for weeks.  Can't stay one season for more than three days.

Any truth in these extreme temp changes gets people sick?

We have a theory at work that the barmetric pressure changes cause patients who are sensitive to body fluid volumes such as dialysis , heart patients and people on BP meds to die or become very ill. on cold morning ls we always find 3 or 4 elderly patients dead.  And the cause aint hypothermia.

If it makes you feel better when I got off work at 6am the -6 was going to be the warmest part of the day. Should be looking at -40 to -50 below windchill tonight. Actual temp right now is -15.

Been in the mid teens the last few days. Tonight it's going to get down to -23 then up to a high of -3 tomorrow, back down to double digits below zero Sun night, back to upper teens Mon, and up to 32* on Tues.

On the bright side we only got 6" of snow last night, but with the 30mph winds that is enough.

Spearfish holds the world record for the fastest recorded temperature change.
On January 22, 1943 at about 7:30 a.m. MST, the temperature in Spearfish was -4°F (-20°C). The Chinook wind picked up speed rapidly, and two minutes later (7:32 a.m.) the temperature was +45 °F (+7 °C) above zero. The 49 °F (27 °C) rise in two minutes set a world record that still holds. By 9:00 a.m., the temperature had risen to 54 °F (12 °C). Suddenly, the chinook died down and the temperature tumbled back to -4 °F (-20 °C). The 58 °F (32 °C) drop took only 27 minutes.[17][18] The sudden change in temperatures caused glass windows to crack and windshields to instantly frost over.

Noice!

It is -1 right now. I guess I didn't start enough tire fires to get that global warming thing going this year.
