Bun doesn't look like much (they just use P Dutch sponge rolls), but these burgers are excellent.
Good Stuff is Chef Spike Mendelshon's place (sp? - of Top Chef fame), and their shtick is fresh beef, no additives, thick patty, doing it right. This is the 'smokehouse' with bacon, cheddar, onion rings, and BBQ sauce. The fries are tossed in a buttload of thyme and rosemary. Sriracha and old bay sauces, and a Vietnamese coffee milkshake. It's good.

We have a local place that makes great burgers (IMO) ...The Thurman Cafe. They aren't all this big of course but this is The Thurmanator

A bacon double cheeseburger from Dairy Barn in Lake Charles, LA. Not the best I've ever had but top 5. no pictures of my home made burgers, but I like to use smallish dinner rolls for buns. |
