How many reliable M16A2 rifles could have been bought with $133 Million bucks ? Wouldn't have to worry about ammuntion logistics when working with troops using the M16A2 either. What's good enough for the Israeli's, should be good enough for the Brit's.

It probably has do to do with their snide superiority complex and the fact that they take almost every chance to poo-poo Americans.  They haven't yet realized that they are not a global power anymore.  Actually, they probably have and that's what really pisses them off.

We Americans are violent, stupid, ignorant Neanderthals who are completely incapable of contributing anything to civilization, at least according to the Brits.  I'm old enough to remember the anti-war protests that the Brits had daily during the Vietnam War.  They called us warmongers and murderers of innocent children, etc.  These people are like the worst sheeple of this country, it is worse there because [b]most[/b] of the British today are sheeple.
