Way to many unanswered questions. Police would have provided more info......but they have not. Suspect. What was she fed, what type of shackles, where was she kept, what was done to her or at least why was she taken......I think its fake.

 In all seriousness though I bet her family breathed a huge sigh of relief yesterday regardless of the circumstances and that is a good thing. I knew a woman who one day up and deserted her family and left her kids for months before finally resurfacing. Not saying that this is the case here but it does sound pretty suspicious. The cops will get it sorted out. |

I don't believe it.
The woman was screwing some new found love, and wanted to escape from her life. Probably both realized it wouldn't work out as planned, so her and her 'captor' topped off the scheme with the abduction bit. "I'll bind your arms, Sherri. You run out by the road when the next car goes by" The media runs with the story since it's SUCH a feel-good story.
I don't care how many of you on here claim to personally know who this woman is. You're just as gullable as the others that believe her stupid fucking story. Man, society is so naive. "Super Mom" my ass. |

Susan smith claimed that several black guys had grabbed her and the kids, when she'd killed the kids herself. that "runaway bride" kook claimed kidnapping by a minority of some sort.. it could easily be true; lots of weirdos out there.it does seem odd that 2 women kidnapped her with no apparent motive. I'm sure she'll fold like a cheap suit under questioning if her story is false. I'll wait for the final analysis. |

The phone, earbuds and chunk of hair does seem to be a good detail.
Someone who's trying to stage their own fake kidnapping for whatever nutty escapist or Munchausen reasons, that is an unusual detail for them to "plant" especially if they have zero clue anyone would ever find it to back up their "story". My admittedly wild-assed-guess here is she was "lucky" enough to be kidnapped by two small-time criminals who wanted her for ATM cards and PIN numbers etc. to get cash, and once they'd done it, they were in over their heads immediately. They were also dumb enough or desperate enough to not realize someone jogging probably didn't have valuables, cards, or cash on them, were too worried to let her go immediately, or determined to try and get money out of her somehow, and then didn't have the heart to kill her etc. |

This is one weird story.

It was never asked for by the "captors", it was volunteered by an anonymous donor and later withdrawn the day before she was found. A whole lot of WTF here.
