Quoted:

We shouldn't weep for those who have gone ahead. Weep for us who are left behind and no longer have that person by our side. For it is us who suffer the loss. I'm not ready to die. I'm not ready to leave my family especially my children. But I will be glad to go back.

This.

In so few words, you described what I have always felt but never quite been able to say, at least not this well.

Well done sir!!!!

Very sad to hear he passed on Christmas Day.

His life and death make my problems seem insignificant. My condolences go out to his family. I trust he's in a better place now, free of his bad heart and free to do the things he was never able to. Free of worry, pain, and  fear.

RIP Ben.

Well done sir!!!!
Reminds me of a song lyric.

"Moving
on is a simple thing

What
it leaves behind is hard

You
know the sleeping feel no more pain

And
the living all are scarred"

While I'm not too touched at all, it was interesting.

I hope I get more for my money if I ever cheat death though.

ETA: I'm quite glad that Gonerebel has a bit of vacation time. He goes out of his way to crap in any thread which mentions God in any way.

The possibility of dying didn't seem tragic to Ben. It looks like he had accepted the fact and was looking forward to the next chapter of experience beyond the physical.

This.  He took his situation far better than I would at his age.  RIP Ben.  I hope you are out of pain now.

Don't remember where I was

I realized life was a game

The more seriously I took things

The harder the rules became

I had no idea what it'd cost

My life passed before my eyes

I found out how little I accomplished

All my plans denied

So as you read this know my friends

I'd love to stay with you all

plz smile when you think of me

My body's gone that's all all all...

A tout le monde (To all the world!)

A tout mes amis (To all my friends)

Je vous aime (I love you)

Je dois partir (I must leave)

These are the last words

I'll ever speak

And they'll set me free

If my heart was still alive

I know it would surely break

And my memories left with you

There's nothing more to say

Moving on is a simple thing

What it leaves behind is hard

You know the sleeping feel no more pain

And the living all are scarred

A tout le monde (To all the world!)

A tout mes amis (To all my friends)

Je vous aime (I love you)

Je dois partir (I must leave)

These are the last words

I'll ever speak

And they'll set me free

So as you read this know my friends

Please smile, smile when you think about me

A tout mes amis (To all my friends)

Je vous aime (I love you)

Je dois partir (I must leave)

These are the last words

And they'll set me free

What an inspiring young man; at close to twice his age I can only hope to be half the man he was.

Wow, thanks for posting that. I fear that I won't make it back there sometimes, that I'm not worthy. That guy reassures me that I need to keep the faith.

Watch some of the videos off to the right, alot of them are responses to this kid.

Proof that the current generation still has some potential for greatness.
