Crunchy but not too crisp.  Enough to be solid and not bend if held.  Then you put some salt on it.

We used to deep fry bacon at a restaurant I used to work at..that would make it the best combination between floppy and crunchy.

Sliced thick and cooked FLOPPY.

Thick sliced bacon is OK if cooked semi-crispy, but cheap shit bacon-you know, the $1.99/LB stuff-is FUCKING RAUNCHY  when cooked crispy.
