Nah...not really.  I like to think I was a shit-hot ship driver at one time...but now...that's ancient history and I can't seem to remember my port from starboard!

I'm a fair electrician; journeyman 23 years.
I can manage convicts; correctional work supr/officer 17 years
And I can sail.  40  years.
Yes, I know I ran over my own anchorline twice in one day (sober),
... but I was able to splice it back together both times.
Yes, I know I "cooled off" that time by pouring the deck jug of diesel over myself. So?
Yes, I know I started my longest cruise by running aground. Big deal.
Yes, I know I wedged my own 9'6"-beamed ketch into a 9'0" slip one time.
... I got it in there and I got it out.
And you ask how I got my knowlege.

I have become quite expert about migraines in 35yrs of suffering.   Any Q's just ask.

I was very expert in Kawasaki, Suzuki , Maico, Can Am, Hercules/DKW/Sachs, Hodaka repair back in the 70' and 80's.  Knew about everything there was to know about most dirt bikes and atvs of the 80's and 90's.

In the mid 80's I was pretty expert at selling Chry body parts.  I could , from memory, write down everything needed for the front end sheet metal of a bipped K Car.   I think Atlanta Rent-A-Kcar must have give out a free case of beer with every rental.  I had the account of the body shop that did their repairs.

Now I am an expert on early onset Alzheimers  What were we discussing ??

If I claim to be an "expert" it opens up too much possibility for courtroom drama. Let's just say I "have significant experience" in the fields of firefighting and prehospital emergency medicine.
