Fly with the wrong group of Airmen and you may want to jump from the plane, some of those guys can't line up on a DZ if their life was on the line.

C Co 1/505th Mortars under the then infamous SSG Mullens.  Meanest bastard I ever knew that could smoke two packs of Reds a day and still run the 2 mile under 11 minutes.

My husband (a veteran of the 101st ABN) tells me :

OTOH my motto became "If it ai'nt parked (fuck you) I'm not getting out" Of course fire negated this motto and I would have gladly done a swan dive out the back door. I'd still like to go skydiving as a civilian as I wouldn't have all the rigors and pounding on my knee as I would have in Airborne school.

AIRBORNE!!!

My last two jumps were CH-47 water jumps with surface swim gear before coming back to the sandbox.
