yeah, I am assuming magpul sold the rights
the original M93 did have have a castle nut like a CAR stock

they came with a bunch of shims to set the stock straight/tight
that's why this one will probably never leave that lower

1 shim was too loose and the other took 3 men and a boy to tighten the stock down

so I am not really wanting to ever try to take it off

I sell the ERGOs the magpul is quite a bit nicer , but it also cost $225 5 years ago

Thanks for the info! Magpul does have a somewhat similar design around with a cheekpiece that is attached to the buffer tube, and does not slide, but not exactly like this.

The photo I posted is from the Mounting Solutions Plus site, and they're advertising it for $139.

the Ergo is not bad IMO

it is a touch rougher/sharper/pokey than the magpul

and is not quite as rigid when locked up

but it is also cheaper and easier to install

Why...just why...

Why would you put a can on an HK51?

Its just wrong.  They're suppossed to be loud, obnoxious, firebreathing monsters.  Its like putting a spedometer on a Ferrari that tops out at 65mph.  I don't even like having a flash hider on mine.
