FLA1A is one of the few people here whose posts I read simply because they're his. He once used "robot" and "rim job" in the same sentence in the same joke, a joke that, though it was over many heads, I consider to be one of the great jokes of the early 21st century. It was a true pearl in the nasty little oyster that is ARfcom GD.

PAEBR332 I don't know much about because every time I see his nick I spend ten minutes trying to pronounce "pay-eh-burr" or "pay-bur" or "pebbur" or...you get the picture. I'm easily distracted.

I drew a joke picture of Cincinnatus one time, but he's so universally revered at ARfcom that I never posted it because I figured it would be tantamount to sacrilege - like pissing on the Alamo or taking J.M. Browning's name in vain or something - and I would be universally reviled.

Insane is a relative term. Would that only apply to those who have been adjudicated mentally unstable? If not, we may lose over half of the members.

There's a forum where a jury can be assembled to rank and vote on the candidates. Whether the jury has a conflict of interest can be sorted out by Ed Sr.

There is a wealth of knowledge on this forum (yes, even GD).

Sadly, it is becoming more and more diluted by madness.

I used to post things of interest that I read or see or think - and have lost the energy for dealing with the inevitable. I toast those of you who go the distance.

The worst trend is by far the idea that since GD isn't a "tech forum" that it is a romper room, and that boorish behavior is to be accepted or even championed.
