Sure there is.  The next president is going to inherit the downside of the current business cycle.  The same cycle that Obama got a free ride on for 8 years due to his impeccable timing.  The Fed is out of ammo and new asset bubbles have already formed.  As has been the case many times in history, the only way forward is to take a few steps back.

If Trump wins, it's going to be nothing but liberals screaming "told you so" and how we should have stayed the course with Clinton.  It'll push attitudes even further in the direction of socialism in the same way that 2008 did with Bush at the helm.

If Clinton wins, there will be fewer chances to pass the buck.  There is no George Bush to blame anymore with 8 years of Obama in the rear view.

The recession is coming either way and the truth is that neither party has the power to prevent it.  We've been having business cycles since forever.  I'm just talking from the perspective of who gets the mileage on the next one.  The socialists got HUGE amounts of mileage from the 2008 recession.  There is something to be said for conservatives/capitalists getting their money's worth on the next one.

I still don't want Hillary to be president and I am still worried about other issues like the Supreme Court, but if you want a silver lining, here it is.

The only remotely positive upside, would be that she blatantly steals the election, and the resulting backlash puts those fuckers back by 40 years.   But I expect the bread and circuses to continue.

The only bright side is that she hates this country slightly less than Obama.  As in 100% hate for Obama, and 99.99% hate for Clinton.
