Thanks God for concealed carry; too bad the animals can't pack. You live in town, don't you sweetie? Swim out and visit Honey! Point being feral cats are a true issue in the sticks. They aren't pets, they are an invasive species, fucking up the ecosystem. They aren't just some little girls "lost kitty". They are usually dumped by asshole suburbanites who don't know what to do with a box full of kittens. They get shot, just like a groundhog in the garden, or a skunk under the porch. But nobody I know is asshole enough to hang them in bags. |

View Quote When I was in high school, two students told me about how they got rid of some feral cats that had set up shop in one of the guy's family's barn. They managed to trap about the same number of cats as in the OP. They were put in a large burlap sack and hung from a tree. They took turns shooting the sack with a .22LR. They would go up to the sack and poke with a stick and if they heard more meowing, they took turns shooting it some more. A gruesome tale. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

I met a man with seven wives, Each wife had seven sacks, Each sack had seven cats, Each cat had seven kits: Kits, cats, sacks, and wives, How many were there going to St. Ives? |

That's some sick shit. You'd be amazed at what you can hide in a small woodlot in a densely populated area. Now that it made the news, whoever did it will change his tactics. They'll have to get lucky to catch him. There was a body in a suitcase found there a few yrs ago, iirc. I believe it. There was a small woodlot in Fort Lee off Lemoine Avenue, right by the GWB tolls. A guy went missing, stumbling home from the bar one night. A year later, they found his corpse in the woods. If you look at Google Maps, it's right next to the toll plaza. They've since cleared the woodlot. It was maybe a half acre. |

I just saw on my local news, folks have been feeding the local feral cat colony, and some locals had taken issue with that.

I'd have killed them too if they were feral but I wouldn't have wasted a garbage bag on them. Pet cats, that's another story. I don't shoot pet cats with collars.

Feral cats? Zero fucks given if they were killed humanely, though I have to question what the fuck is wrong with someone that takes the time to hang the bodies in trees.
