I REALLY don't have a clue whom I'd pick to win, haven't really watch either team play this year.

I live close to Tech.  They have the most RABID, irrational, and retarded fans on the face of the planet.   90% of them are pure "bandwagon" jumpers as about 10-11 years ago...you could hear crickets in Lane Stadium.  To listen to them..."EVERY YEAR" they are in contention for a national championship.  In their defense...they do have a great defensive coach and good special teams, but that's about it.  With the exception of Michael Vick, their offenses has always sputtered and their defense is the only thing that keeps them in many games.

I remember in '96 we played Pitt. in the rain on a cold November day.  I was one of maybe 10,000 who were at the game.  However, quite a few of us have been through the thick and thin.  We were pioneers.

Dude, you can talk shit about OSU blowing every big game in the last 3 years if you want to, that's any easy target.  But, look how they've played michigan....

Losing to USC is one thing, USC is not devoid of talent.  Last years team was undoubtedly better sure, but they'd still blow out Michigan, and the Buckeyes will win AGAIN.  It's hard for me to get pumped for the OSU Michigan games these days but I know that eventually you guys will be good again.  After 3-9 you might want to hope for 9-3...don't talk about hanging with the big dogs of the Big 10 (whatever that means these days) yet.

Yup

From what the local annalists are saying is that UN is strong on offense and that  your QB is an exceptional passer.  Seeing that we are without our star corner, you will likely gain some big yards and make it in the endzone more than a few times.  They also pointed out to the lack of talent and experience in your defensive back field.  This will be a shootout.

Your QB STINKS. Forcier is a FAR better QB, and he's just a frosh.

You better not hide after the OSU/UM game is over, and UM comes out on top.

Seriously, if I could schedule out of conference games for Tech, it would be Alabama, Nebraska and Texas A&M every year.  It just fun playing those schools.

Well, VA Tech is looking a bit sharper in the early game, but this is to be expected.  They already played a big game this season.  This competition level is new for the Huskers this year.  They've improved as the game has progressed and hopefully can pull it off against a good team.

GO BIG RED

FYI, Beamer was one of several head coaches to come to Lincoln and learn from Tom Osborne after our big wins in the 90s.  Tom, why did you have to teach them so well?

Mark my words right now. Michigan is going to an important bowl game this year. Might not be a BCS, but it will be an important one. We will win the Big 10 this year.

Penn St looks like they actually regressed from last year. Also, Michigan ALMOST beat them last year, and we weren't even good that year.

I'll agree about Michigan surprising some people this and beating Ohio State, but what non-BCS bowl is an important one?

LOL, don't worry about the buckeyes...we get pwned by every good team we play.  But, not Michigan....this is not your year.  Maybe in another 6 or so.

Don't even get my started on how BAD the Buckeyes looked against a talent depleted USC team. This USC is a joke compared to the last 8 years, and OSU couldn't even pull it off at HOME against a Freshman QB, and an offense that was TOTALLY predictable.

So you're saying Michigan will beat Ohio State this year huh?

I wouldnt go that far.
NU cant seem to keep the offense going.
Not sure why they threw the ball way down by the goal line. I think they could have gotten away with a running play to score a TD.

VT looks like they did with Bama.

I think the second half is going to be a nail biter.

GOOD LUCK VT!

I don't think so, but Steinspring should have been gone two years ago.  With all the talent we have produced, not to have had a top 50 offense in like, ever is appalling.

I'm  hoping if Beamer retires, to have Bud Foster as head coach
