you do realize that the GOP, a private corporation with its own bylaws and financing, can elect anyone they choose as a nominee without considering you or anybody else, including Mr. Trump or Mr Cruz, right? hint: they can even change their own rules, bylaws and procedures. View Quote They can do whatever they want, and I never have to vote for one of them again If I find it excessively obnoxious. I'm voting for either Trump or Cruz if they win. I'm not voting for Kasich, Ryan, or any other candidate they manage to dredge up. If it's not Trump or Cruz the R party is a lost cause and I'm done voting for them. |
|
Quoted: I also believe Trump will win easily the first ballot. While the Cruzites will wail and gnash teeth and do other childish things, I believe the Republican candidate will be Donald Trump on the first ballot with no open convention being necessary. This is by far the best outcome for all concerned and hopefully Cruz will be a grown up about this and concede gracefully and throw his support behind Trump. Does not matter what Kasich will do as he is inconsequential anyway. Its time to get out there and defeat Hitlery before we are under the jackboot of a dictatorship. When she packs the Supreme Court with her liberal cronies (with GOPe complicity) she will have the votes there to win any challenge to her ruling by decree (executive orders) which will allow her to bypass the Congress in granting amnesty, illegals the ability to vote, decriminalizing blacks, banning guns and in general bypassing the Constitution at will. We have bigger things to worry about than whether Cruz can win or not (he can't). View Quote Hi, targettarget here from planet earth. On what fucking planet do you currently live? |

Sorry, America. (I know the formatting is fucked, but all you have to read is the last part of each line) <snip> View Quote And, precisely NONE of those polls are recent nor are they accurate. When are people going to wise up that this election cycle is going to be much, much different than the last two because (a) there isn't a black guy running and (b) there is anti-establishment anger in the extreme. Trump and Cruz have shown that they can draw Republicans and independents out of the malaise that they've been in with the crappy RINO candidates the GOPe has been feeding the base. Turnout in many GOP primaries has been at record levels. Gee, do you think that could be that they see a way to dislodge the entrenched DC GOPe mafia? You bet they do, and that will carry thru to the general. Even some typically stalwart Dims (blue collar workers and unions) are behind Trump because they believe, rightly, that he will indeed bring jobs back to the US. So, I'm going to go out on a limb and say if Trump gets the nomination on the first ballot, he will win the general in a landslide. Hitlery is the most unlikeable Dimocrat to run for Prez EVAR. Trump in a one-on-one contest with her will completely dominate and probably cause her to stroke out. And, that's IF Odumbo doesn't decide to hose her over by letting the JustUs department indict her and make her do the perp walk. Remember, he's a petty, vindictive bastard and hasn't forgotten about he and her running against one another. Don't be surprised if an "October surprise" comes along like that to make damn sure that she doesn't succeed him in the WH. |

They can do whatever they want, and I never have to vote for one of them again If I find it excessively obnoxious. I'm voting for either Trump or Cruz if they win. I'm not voting for Kasich, Ryan, or any other candidate they manage to dredge up. If it's not Trump or Cruz the R party is a lost cause and I'm done voting for them. you do realize that the GOP, a private corporation with its own bylaws and financing, can elect anyone they choose as a nominee without considering you or anybody else, including Mr. Trump or Mr Cruz, right? hint: they can even change their own rules, bylaws and procedures. Serious question. Does everyone supporting trump believe his entire life before 2016 was irrelevant? I could post some interviews with him from the 80's saying pretty much what he is now but I doubt you would watch them. I don't think any of the current candidates are worth a damn. I don't get the mindset of candidate X sucks because he did/said (fill in blank) before, yet they think Trump is the most honest and truthful person ever. Videos showing his positions/beliefs being different at different times just makes me even more skeptical of his stated positions. |
