Guys while all the ideas are great, and I applaud the enthusiasm, my personal take on this is lets keep it super simple right now. Too many irons in the fire will be a logistical nightmare. Right now they are selling special black lowers. And you can donate to the fund. Soon there might be pink lowers if there is enough demand... who knows.
The point is right now get money into the pockets of CavArms so they can keep afloat. The best way to do that is buy a lower through AGP or send a paypal donation to Striker. Those are immediate fixes that can get us to the next step. BUT, we need to be able to transition to the next step first. Hell I'd love to see a CavArms challenge coin... I think that would do really well. But right now, let's handle this play before we worry about the next quarter. Just my opinion of course. |
agreed guess i need another lower |
$50 inbound. I was going to buy a membership but that can wait. This is more important.
$100 sent to Ed via snail mail. All of us at LWRC wish Shawn, Russ & all at Cav Arms the best.
I'd like to see a few industry folks support them too. Hell, if this can happen to nice guys like Shawn et al, who is going to be next?? It's time to put aside the differences & stand together as an industry, whether you're a customer, forum member, owner, gunsmith or manufacturer. Thanks Ed for setting this up. |
Same here. I have serious medical issues that are affecting my finances. I'm only working part time. I'll get something out next payday. Can't let those wannabe nazi's get away with this. ZM |

Now that right there is some stand up behavior. There are 20+ sponsors at the top of this page. There are countless more dealers and industry folks in the EE. On any other day, these folks may be your competitors but today they are your brothers. They are no different than you and need your support. |
And some of them are indeed stepping up... offering to do free transfers, inquiring about product to stock. I have confidence that many will do the right thing. |
the site should look a little different for you now. |
he might have to logout and back in to notice... |
Wow! Thank you very much! You shoulda given it to the fund but thank you any way! I'll be paying it forward when I can afford to. Thanks again... geez, sorta choked up here... |

$50 in the pot for Cavalry Arms from me. Also, I have posted in the Saiga forums in the general discussion section. |
Just sent $50 by paypal. But, I was in such a rush that I put the wrong user name in the note. Oh well, the important thing is that the money is going for a very good cause.
Just stopped by CavArms and dropped off my contribution. They're holding up okay, considering the circumstances. They're immediate concern was how to continue day-to-day business, how to finish jobs, ship product and pay vendors if they don't have any computers or records of who they owe what to or who ordered what when. Also talked about the garbage KTAR interview with CAIR idiots. |
Oh I'm sure their suppliers will let them know if they owe them money... Come on guys, lets make sure they have some to pay their bills with! |
Just sent $50 via paypal from bryan[dot]jayne@comcast[dot]net
Bryan |
Just sent $100. If this turns out to be a big nothing I'll send another $250.
... Heck with PayPal, I'll just run down and give 'em some cash
+1, As soon as I get back in town next week. |
Lower ordered (LMT will have to wait!).
I'll send a check to Mr. A. via snail mail. Don't do paypal. Sic Semper Tyrannis! |
not to throw a wet blanket on this, but hasn't there been cases of PayPal not wanting donation things like this done and then siezing and holding the funds?
Handing them cash creates an extra thing for them to keep track of. I tried to make a donation for a friend in Tucson today and Russel wouldn't take it. |
We think/hope we have a handle on that (transferring the funds out of PP daily). So far we have never had a problem with any of our fundraisers. <fingers crossed> |
Cool, seems you guys know more about this than I do. |
Why don't we start using "striker at job related stuff dot com" instead of ar15? |
The train's already left the station and he has the AR15.com acct. tied to his PP. |
you can have like 8 email addresses tied to paypal, just add a new one under his profile and verify with the confirmation email sent to that addy from paypal. Dirt simple. |
HELL YEAH |
Sent $20 via Paypal and will pick up a lower next week when they hit AGP. Wish I could do more, but right now things are pretty tight. I sure wish them the best of luck.
Ya' gotta be sneaky about it. |
Yeah like take Russel to a strip club, straddle his lap and start putting dollars in HIS g-string! |
Fucker, you pulled up as I was leaving to pick up some lunch, and gone when I got back. I didn't recognize you since the only time I met you was at the "Witch is Dead" party or I would have said hey. |
Was that you? Sorry mon! |
Yeah, now I feel like a dick for not holding the gate for you. |
I made a healthy purchase today. $820.00
Nice to see you Russell. Have a great weekend. |
Meh....Being a poor college student, I was too embarassed to post how little I was able to send until I saw this. I hope the $10 I sent helps |
I'll be buying one of those lowers once I find an FFL and sending what I can in a MO to striker monday.
The only problem [email protected] doesn't exist as an e-mail domain. I'm hoping someone can score me Shawn's phone # so I can call him and discuss this. |
Every little bit helps and adds up quickly.. |
