Ok it looks like a done deal! Match #1: [AR15] vs [AWG] Nov 18th FRIDAY 9:00PM EST / 8:00PM CST/ 6:00PM PST
 VS  Please let me know if your available that night. Please make sure I have your email address!
We will work out who plays, as I don't think we'll have problems getting 8 players for that night. We may have some players take turns, between rounds. We will work things out, I just want it to be fair to everyone. We will need guys on standby, should anyone have some technical issues. We also have scrimages this Sunday 13TH against ~S^S~ Suicide Squad Clan AND another one against =CKA= 'Canada Kicks Ass Clan' on Wednesday 16TH. So, we should get some practice in, before the Match on Friday the 18TH. |

I have a list of Official Tournament BF2 servers that we can borrow for matches. It's for teams that don't have their own server.
We will use these servers when we are the HOME Team. Home Team gets to pick the server. Visitors get to pick out the starting Army. I will try to play on these servers, whenever we can. They are neutral ground and won't give either team an advantage. We will also be sure they are set up right and are using the official server/script files for the Tourney. What I would like is for you guys to ping them, during the times we will be more likely be playing them on. 21:00 EST - 18:00 PST. To see if any of them have better pings for you. Especially the guys with slower or troublesome internet connections. There are 2 servers in each city listed that we can reserve. I will try to reserve the servers that have better pings for our players. It'll be first come first server, so I will try to get the ones that will work for the team the best. I will have to notify the Tourney moderator 48 hours prior to a match to try to reserve a server. I will email the servers IP list to players that I have email addresses for. Seattle, WA San Jose, CA Los Angeles, CA Virgina Michigan They pinged all the same for me, they look pretty fast connections. |

Top two teams from each Division advance to the next level.
All third place Division teams will play off for 12 wildcard positions. Some Teams ar forfeiting, but I think the scores are being reported as 1-0 scores. Maybe a lot of their team mates didn't show up and that's why they got POWENED! Gonna check those Teams forums to see what happened in their match?! lol |

this is kinda funny you guys are playing my gaming squad in your first match lol"AWG"
ive been with them for goin on 2 years "great bunch of guys and girls" we pride our selves on honorable game play "no cheating and no exploiting" iam "operator(AWG)" i was just reading are forum on the world tourney and saw first match is aginst ar15 i thought "no way " lol good luck to both sides as i took a brake from bf2"hate the damage modeling been playin cod2 with some of the guys |

it doesn't look like anyone is taking us seriously as a good group of players. maybe that will work to our advantage .
 crimson is supposedly the team to beat in our group guess they've been in tournaments before but the rest of us are unknowns so lets go get some and show them what evil black rifle fans can do!!!!! Thanks ops!!

I watched the replay files Now I know why we're having so much trouble killing some enemy tanks. I guess these Tournament players know a lot of secret, we have yet to learn. It's better we learn these secrets in the beginning...so we can use the same tricks at our future matches.
I sent out the info via email. IM me if you want the replay files to view, if you didn't get the email. I just didn't play as well as I usually do. They beat us fair and square. |

Don't post links to these replay files in public. We're supposed to have permission from both Team Captains to make them public.
As for the Tank trick... please don't post it here also. Our future match opponents will be checking this forum/thread. We don't want to 'let the cat out of the bag'..so to speak. Just in case we play against a team new to tournaments (such as our team). The matches were played on Kubra? Ugh, it's just as well I didn't play. I play almost exclusively on the city maps (Mashtuur, Karkand, Oman, Wake, Sharqi). The vehicle-centric maps aren't much fun, IMO.

Next match will be on Dragon Valley. This is much more of a mechanized map. The biggest change here is each side gets an attack helicopter. Each side also starts with a tank, apc, and hummer. The PRC also gets an attack buggy. USMC base is at the lowest elevation on the map with 249meters to nearest CP, and 265meters to the top.
PRC is at the highest elevation on the map with 357meters to near CP, 381 to far(all down hill). I think the choppers will make all the difference in this map, b/c the cp's are so close to each other. |

Okay if I can make the match can I gun the attack chopper? I can take out the enemy chopper with the misile most of the time- I have been using this strategy since the begining of the game. If I need to prove myself then lemme know a time and I will show thou my mad skillz.

A tanker with good commander support can own this map:
 So the first target for our attack chopper should be there tank. The server from that screenshot has been on 16 player Dragon Valley all afternoon if you guys want to get some practice in later. |

BF2: Special Forces Expansion Pack comes out tomorrow.
If you want to keep playing in the Tournament...I wouldn't install it or the PATCH until we hear from the Tournament regarding the patch's approval. They won't approve the patch, until they know if it's stable, what new bugs/exploits come up from the new patch, etc... **** World Tournament *** player, shouldn't install it just yet. You will have to patch your regular BF2 to ver 1.12. The new patch is for fixes & installing SF pack, and does not fix anything for regular BF2 players. If you patch it, you may not be able to play on regular 1.03 servers. ??? Just wait and see if and when the World Tournament administrators approves the 1.12 patch for the Tournament. |
