Quoted: Approximately 30 yards, from a stand. It worked well, but I definitely wouldn't want to use any less or shoot that any farther under normal circumstances. I know. |

View Quote Oh my! I had a blue six-inch but always wanted a 3 or 4 inch. Wonderful guns. I sold it to a buddy who just had to have it for his wife. The deal was when she got tired of it he was to sell it back to me. She got tired of him first and got custody of my gun in the divorce. I replaced it with the 686 pictured above. |

Don't have any good pictures of it but just bought a Bond Arms derringer in .357 the other day.
Also have a 686, and since OP didn't specify WHICH .357 I'll add my daughter's deer gun. Side charging .357 AR Maximum. Built just before the .350 Legend was announced. It's a rimless .357 Maximum in an AR15 platform. 200 grain bullet, loaded to upper level .357 Maximum data, with recoil only slightly heavier than a 62 grain 5.56. |

I didn't think 158 grain magnums were much worse than .38+P out of an airweight J frame. Definitely not a gun I'll shoot a box per trip through, but it's really not that bad. Then again, I shoot a 12" Contender in .45-70 for fun. |

Cool guns!
I want a 4" 7 shot GP100 somewhat badly but aren't super interested in a .357 lever action as I want a .44 lever action instead. That really means I have to buy at least 4-5 guns now! GP100, 3" LCRx, 16" Rossi, and then a revolver and rifle in .44. I really can't afford all this thinking. |

Ruger already makes AR and 10/22 pistols. Maybe we'll see 1894 pistols? Count me in for a 12", 1:20 twist 1894 SBL pistol in .44 Magnum! Stamp, stock, bang! |
