My nephew has a printer and is very talented using it. He saw me putting JB Weld into one of my receiver extensions to limit my length of pull on a pistol build with a LAW folding adapter. BATFE says LOP has to be under 13.5" to use a pistol brace. He offered to print a piece to fit into the receiver extension to do what the JB Weld was doing. So I am offering these to fellow AR15.COMers. These are made with black ABS that is 100% infilled. There is a small hole to aid in extraction should you want to remove it. Some minor fitting may be required but the ones I have tried have snapped right in place. Price is $5 each. Shipping is $5 CONUS for any amount you buy. These are for standard carbine receiver extensions.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong here ,but ATF is measuring the LOP from the trigger to the end of the buffer tube, and not the end of the arm brace or what ever you are using !!

View Quote If the brace is adjustable, as in SBA3, then the LOP should not exceed 13.5 inches when fully extended. It is their ruling not a law. If you are using a firearm with a brace with a longer LOP then you are using the brace like a stock according to the BATFE. |
