I understand it has been a long time since this issue was last looked at, so it's understandable that all of the details may not have been fresh when you revisited it.
I stopped responding in regards to the handguards, and that was 3 days later on a Saturday
(he himself told me to hold off on payment so he could try to solicit other items), he made no mention of not receiving payment, me having to pay, etc. He was just inquiring about the other parts. In my mind, I had already sent payment as that's what I do the instant I buy something (plus he made no mention of not getting paid). I thought we were just discussing those other parts. I do a LOT of, not only buying, but inquiring about items on the EE so with so many emails about many different items, sometimes it's hard to keep track. A simple, "hey, I haven't been paid yet". Or, "I need payment" would have resolved this situation. Why would you not give payment info, not even ask for payment, and just give a negative? It doesn't even make sense.
#1. He never even asked for payment
#2. I had no payment information so was unable to even pay him.
I got a negative for not paying him when I had no ability to pay? I still can't understand how I can get a negative for not paying when the seller never gave payment info or even asked to be paid.
Initially, after seeing my email correspondence you said that it supported "my side" of the story but had to see his side because if it showed he sent payment info, it would prove that I was wrong.

Did he ever request payment?
You have only shown your side. What happens when he comes in and shows that he sent payment info?
If my correspondence alone wasn't enough to support removing the negative, you wouldn't have bothered looking for additional information as his side wouldn't have made things better for me. You yourself said you were looking for proof that he sent payment info or asked for payment, it's right there.
Anyway, if this is your final decision (you still have time to change your mind after refreshing yourself with all the details) then how do I go about appealing this to Aimless or Ed? Just email them or tag them in this thread here? I am a big poster here and use the EE a lot, the last thing I want is to get a negative feedback on my spotless record. I worked too hard for this over the years.
