Colt AR-15A2 Sporter II
This rifle was made during a transitional period in the 80's where a variety of different kinds of parts were used. It has the large, flat head screw style of pivot pin. It has no fence around the mag release. Large, round forward assist, 1:7 twist barrel, A1 sights, A2 handguards, non-shrouded firing pin. It also has a CMP style free float hand guard, which allows the use of the original handguards, maintaining the stock look. It is otherwise stock.
