My Father has owned a jewelry business(retail and wholesale) for over 50 years. I have recently inherited a large inventory of his diamonds, jewelry, and gemstones. Will be adding to the list as time allows. If you have specific requests for stuff send me a PM or email and I'll see if I have it. Mostly what I have is diamonds from .01 to .50 carats, colored gemstones of all kinds, some diamond rings and earrings and some gemstone rings. No Rolex, Pandora, or other brand stuff. No really large diamonds either.
I am offering this stuff at liquidation prices. Retail would be anywhere from 3 to 20 times these prices depending where you go. Check out what Tiffany's charges for diamonds, you will be shocked. These diamonds were accurately graded by a GIA trained Graduate Gemologist. Round diamonds: 1.14 carat G color I2 clarity $1000 this diamond is full of life and looks much nicer than the clarity suggests. A high clarity 1.0+ carat with G color like this would be $5000-8000 Marquise diamonds: .20 carat E color VVS2 clarity $120 .37 carat I color SI1 clarity $200 .46 carat J color VS2 clarity $250 Attached File Pear shape diamond .30 carat F color VVS2 clarity $150 SOLD Trillion cut diamond .30 carat F color SI2 clarity $250 SOLD Emerald cut diamond .28 carat F color VS2 clarity $250 SOLD Princess cut diamond .40 carat G color VS1 clarity $300 SOLD Attached File Mixed lot of small diamonds (melee). These range in size from .005 carat to .13 carat. 5.56 carats total weight(ARFCOM special). Mostly nice quality stones, there are rounds, baguettes, princess cuts in here. Only $100 per carat so total price is $556. I have about 20 carats of these small diamonds and can make up a package from 1 to 20 carats for $100 per carat. Attached File Attached File $5 shipping for any quantity. Can take paypal, Zelle, money order. Will also hear trade offers for firearms/night vision stuff. All diamonds guaranteed genuine. I think these prices should be much lower than you can find anywhere for guaranteed genuine, properly graded diamonds. If you get something and don't like it you can send it back to me. These diamonds don't have a cut grade? You are only giving 3 of the 4 "C"s of diamond grades. This affects the value immensely. "Ideal cut" vs "Fair cut" can be multitudes difference in value. Why is that grade missing?

"Ideal cut" vs "Fair cut" can be multitudes difference in value. Why is that grade missing? View Quote Cut grade is still somewhat subjective. Tiffany used to be adamant that the "ideal" cut diamond had to have a 53% table percentage. Most other stores/diamond grading labs say 58-60% is better. GIA, EGL and IGI never used to even issue a cut grade as it was too controversial and they couldn't come to a consensus. They would grade polish and symmetry. Color grades and clarity are much easier to quantify. There are far too many stores who call everything "ideal cut". They are the reason GIA started with "D" for the top color grade instead of"A". Too many stores were using A, B, and C for color and clarity grades and of course all their diamonds were grade A. Now you see the same thing with cut, far too many diamonds are sold as ideal when we can't even agree or quantify exactly what that is. I simply don't have the time or the desire to measure crown angles, pavilion depth, table percentage, etc on thousands of diamonds that I am selling at a super cheap price. If I took the time to do all that I would have to charge a lot more. You will also notice I offer returns if you don't like how the diamonds look. Hope this helps. |

Interested, but slightly concerned they your color grades are inflated. If I send any of your diamonds to GIA for grading, and it comes back more than 1 grade lower than the advertised grade, would you refund the relative percentage decrease in value? or are these sold As-is.

View Quote Good question. Please keep in mind these stones were graded by a GIA gemologist using GIA sourced master stones to grade the color(pic below). Please check out bluenile.com which is a very well known diamond seller that has excellent prices. Let's take a few stones listed above and compare them to bluenile. My .30 H SI2 round is $100. Bluenile shows a K SI1 with only a "good" cut for $278. That's 3 color grades lower tghan mine and they want almost 3X as much. How about my .31 E SI2? I'm asking $125. Bluenile has a .31 H SI2 for $322. Even if mine was WAY overgraded it's still less than 40% of the price of bluenile. My .38 G SI2 for $150? Bluenile has a .40 J SI2 for $390. There are thousands of stones similarly prices online, you will see my prices are WAY lower EVEN IF they were actually a few grades lower. Attached File |

View Quote Small diamonds are notoriously difficult to grade by eye. Your guy might be good, but I've received stones that were 7 color grades off. If the grading is accurate, your prices are excellent. If not, they might not even be worth the price of postage. I'm just concerned about getting a LMNOP grade stone again. I'm not trying to pick at anything, and if I pick up a pair of ear rings, it's with the full intent of keeping the purchase. Again, if the color grade is significantly off and with proof, will you refund the difference in value or take the stone back for refund + cost of grading? I'll of course send it back sealed with the GIA dossier. |

Here are three of the stones on a GIA color grading plate. They are graded F, G, and L Attached File
I am not interested in paying $50-100 per stone to GIA grade diamonds I am trying to sell for $60-200(mostly). |

Thanks for the reply. It's really hard to by diamonds you can't look at. A really well cut diamond has a lot of fire and sparkle even with a low clarity if the color is in the reasonably clear range. I know what you mean by the cut grade being abused with less scrupulous sellers calling everything "Hearts and Arrows". Your prices are great if the diamonds are what they seem to be. If I could look at them, I'm sure I would buy some, but I just don't think I can throw down without seeing them. Maybe a video would show the fire in the larger stones? Thank you, and good luck with the sale.
