Do these work with NEA stocks?
I'm working on a buffer for the NEA PDW stocks that will work with a standard bolt carrier.

I am going to order this buffer but what is the deal with the spring on your website? Is it more powerful or something?
I am not sure If I have extra money for gun parts or if I forgot to pay some bills?
You can use the LWRC spring. I'm offering the spring is an option for those who want an extra or don't have the original spring. I feel that round wire springs are superior in many ways, but that's a different discussion for a different day.

The U-9 9mm UCIW buffers are in stock - www.HeavyBuffers.com/uciw
These buffers weigh 8.5 oz. and are longer than standard UCIW buffers in order to protect the bolt catch. Retail price is $150, this includes a special buffer spring. |

I run Adam Arms piston systems almost exclusively and adding a piston strike face to the NEA carrier/buffer seems to be a recipe for sheared off bolts and a ruined carrier. |

Still waiting on BATFE approval to import my NEA PDW stock.

I just put the LWRC UCIW stock on my 300blk SBR. The buffer weighs 3.8 oz. Will this buffer cycle subs? I haven't shot it yet but it ran supers with a carbine buffer but not subs. It isn't suppressed yet but will be when approved. What weight buffer do I need if 3.8 oz. isn't heavy enough? It is an 8" barrel with pistol gas system.

Nothing is guaranteed with subsonic ammo, because there are no standards for that type of ammo.
My UCIW-XH buffer weighs 5.5 oz and works great in most .300 BO guns with or without a suppressor. |

There is not a lot of room in the buffer tube. I actually had to send my stock back to NEA because the bolt wouldn't fully retract. Seldom ejected a round and never locked on an empty mag. BK I have a .300blk build that would love a heavy buffer. |

Will the 9mm UCIW buffer work on a 5.7 upper?

Have you had any trouble with stretched case mouths with the UCIW X-Heavy on the 5.7? I briefly tried an H2 on mine before I had the UCIW kit and it was opening too early and turning the cases into a straightwall case.
Can you comment on how much reciprocating mass these have? Are they a solid stainless steel design with no reciprocating mass? |
I haven't encountered that problem.
The UCIW-XH buffer has Tungsten weights inside that make up over half of the buffer's total mass.

How long is the uicw 9mm spring?
The relaxed length of a buffer spring is virtually irrelevant.
The U-9 buffer springs are custom made to my specs. They have 34 coils of wire. |
