This upper was designed to meter at about 140 dB at the shooter's ear and at the mil-spec muzzle position. It is a permanently pinned 556 TAKE DOWN to the barrel to prevent the requirement of a registered SBR lower ONE TAX STAMP GUN - OAL 16" BBL. With the front-serviceability of the 556 TAKE DOWN, this combination can still easily be maintained and repaired. An H4 buffer is recommended for compatibility with all ammo types.
