Sold an Odin billet upper/handguard with an unknown BCG to lpjames. BCG was sold to me as nitride, it isn't glossy, kinda dull. I have a PWS BCG nitride carrier that is dull as well so didn't question it. After receiving the parts (lpjames) was not happy with the carrier, said he didn't believe it was nitride and that there was a hairline crack in the gas key. Sent good quality photos of the area and he was correct. My fault for not inspecting it closer before offering it for sale. Told him I'd refund him and was sorry. Offered $100, had it priced separately for $99 shipped. Was actually even less because of the package deal. He said can we split it at $105? (I sell used cars and still have no idea what we are splitting.) Agree to it because it was my fault. Sent payment via PPFF, he said he would get it in the mail shortly and haven't heard back from him. That was June 5th. BTW we had been communicating by text message this whole time. Sent several more texts and called from my work phone and got nothing.
This is my first time being ripped off by an AR15.com member and didn't want to believe it. We are all in the same fight together and disappointing that there are people out there who do not see it that way.
