The idea is to remove an adjustable gas block from the gas system while providing optimal gassing for a reliable, pleasant shooting experience. Minor buffer weight changes may be required for your setup due to variances in barrels, ammo and suppressor back pressure.

Optimized for 7-9.5” barrels

Ammo: Subsonics with a suppressor. Supersonics without. This will not cycle subsonics unsuppressed.

Buffer: H2 or A5H1/2. You can always increase the weight for supers suppressed if you need to.

These start off as YHM 556 Suppressor optimized gas blocks and are modified to work with 300 BLK. The 556 GB uses a smaller port but is opened up to .091 equivalent gas port size for 300BLK.

The port sizing is based on my own testing of various loads and barrel sizes. The hole is refinished with brownells oxphoblue. The pistol gas tube is bedded with loctite 609 to give a good gas tube/block seal.
