How many shotgun shells should your Load 2 or Load 4 caddy hold?

I have two four round caddy's, one eight round caddy, one 12 round caddy. I can run them all strong side. I think have a four and an eight for the weak side and a 30ish round chest rig in case the SHTF. I use the single four and eight the most as most stages are less then 20 rounds.

I carry 2 8 round gunner solutions, 2 4 round safarilands and a 24 round mark otto for those longer stages

It is nice to be able to scale the load of shotgun shells to the stage requirement. I have carried as few as 8 and as many as 42 + 9 counting a side saddle.
24 is a good amount to have handy because shit happens. |
