Ok, I know I'm going to get told to use the search function, and i did, but nothing really applicable.

I have a garden variety Buckmark that I want to put a TacSol rail on to shoot steel challenge.
Any Optic would then need a picatinny mount.

I also have a Sig Legion X5 that I want to use for IDPA.

What optic would transition between both, or am i out of luck?

I have looked at the SRO, but not liking the mount options or price.

What can anyone here recommend?

Some of the .22 shooters are using the CMore, but not sure it will transition to the Sig.
Also, Which Holosun? Would prefer a 2-3 minute dot.

I ordered a delta point for my x5 legion

I have a Delta Point Pro on my CZ but the Buckmark can take almost anything since the recoil is minimal and the optic does not move.

I would buy a cheap (think Sightmark) optic for the Buckmark and good optic the Sig (like a Holosun or DPP). Once mounted, neither would move until it broke.
