I want to try to improve my versatility by trying my hand at 3 gun. Therefore, I am trying to get my kit up to par.

I have a G17C that i would like to use to get started with. Would this be acceptable for entry level competition, or would i need to switch the barrel out with a non - "C", standard G17 barrel?

Any help / advice will be greatly appreciated.

For any division, except Open, you will need a non-ported barrel.

Got it.

I am sure i can find someone with a factory take - off barrel on the cheap, as much as people swap out their barrels. I already have a decent holster. It looks like, for the pistol, I just need to get some mag pouches, a belt, and the aforementioned barrel to get started. Then I have to get set up for the shotgun.

Thank you.
