Hi all,

This is my first season of 3 gun. For those with more experience, I wondered if many have found a trigger job essential on the Benelli M2 (field gun)?  It's the best shotgun I've ever heard owned but I didn't know what some might consider good vs great on this topic.

I've already done the extension tube, oversized bolt release, and opened up the loading port. Just wondering if the trigger job makes a huge difference, especially if I still intend to use it for bird hunting in the field. (Don't want to go too light...)

Thanks in advance!

IMO, you don't need anything special for trigger work.  Just add the TTI trigger and hammer spring set and that should be GTG.  If you already opened up the loading port, get the extended lifter so your thumb doesn't get pinched.

Thanks for the response. I omitted it from my original post but I did indeed have the lifter welded up when they opened up the loading port.

Oh, the TTI reduced power buffer spring wouldn't be a bad idea for the soft loads.  I think they have a set that comes with the trigger, hammer and buffer spring.
