I am about to make myself a truck gun, which will be a 10.5" ar. i want a super small soft case for it, basically the smallest case i can get, for the gun and a few spare magazines. im going to build myself a steel lock box out of 1/4" steel to mount under the back seat to store the gun in its case. then i can pull the soft case out and carry the gun to my boat, atv etc.

It's not necessarily a case, but I put my 10.5" AR with an SBA3 brace in a Wilson tennis racket case. It fits like a glove, has a bit of padding and I can fit 2 mags in the zipper pouch. Very discreet. I haven't tried it with one of my SBRs wearing a SOPMOD so I can't say a standard Stock will fit but a brace definitely will.
And it's by far the smallest case you'll find IMO. |

Not sure if it's the smallest bag or not but I use a SatCom xl bag from countycomm. It holds my 10.5 inch pistol, a holstered G19, eagle chest rig and magazines for both weapons.
If I were a bit more high speed/low drag it would be my go bag. Since I'm not, it's my go to camp and go shooting bag.  Attached File |

seems overpriced for what you get and reading the reviews sort of confirms that it looks too flimsy.

I carry my work rifle (11.5” SBR) in a GPS Tactical 28” case. Fits like a glove with the stock fully collapsed. It’s by no means covert, nor is it cheap... but it’s bad ass and incredibly well built.
GPS Tactical 28” SBR case I have no firsthand experience with Elite Survival Systems, but they make some pretty rugged looking cases. They range in sizes from 16” to 27”. Again, these are by no means cheap or covert. Elite Survival Systems Submachine Gun Bags I also have an el-cheapo NcSTAR 28” bag that I bought for like $15.00... incredibly cheap and likely made in China, but it gets the job done and I regularly tote an AR9 SBR around in it. NcSTAR VISM 28” SBR Case Those are just a few more options for you... good luck! |

Guy on a local forum posted this sale up from Botach. One of the guys there is also a member her eand said:
It’ll easily hold a 10.5-12.5” unsuppressed AR. It’s got a heavy duty extender at the bottom you can unzip and expand that will allow the bag to accommodate a 16” rifle or a suppressed 10.5” rifle. I’ve also put a suppressed 16” rifle in the bag WITHOUT the extender, but with the upper and lower separated and it works just fine Also on the bottom near that extender pouch, it’s got another zippered compartment that houses a rain fly, so if you’re hiking or on the range or whatever, you can pop out the rain fly and the elastic band holds it in place around the bag Very comfortable to wear, good straps and padding. There isn’t a ton of additional storage space inside so this wouldn’t be like a bugout bag with room for three days of supplies plus a rifle, it’s more like rifle, mags/ammo and some other essentials.

Subgun bag will fit a 10.3 at a slight angle. Put a LAW folder on it and you now have room for mounted can. 16" can be broken down like in the pic. Webgear is nice to arrange your loadout. The smaller pocket with mesh zipper is handy, fits small chest rig with mags, etc.  Attached File |

I bought the Bulldog ultra compact discreet case from Amazon and it works pretty good for an AR pistol with 10.5" barrel and KAK Super Sig brace (extended).
I just looked on Amazon and the price has went up for sure. They want $51 for the case now, I paid $27 back in 2014 for it. |

Wilson tennis racket bag. $15 at Wally world. Good low cost, discreet and can easily fit a SBR of 11.5 inch or smaller. Only downside is not much padding since it's meant to protect a tennis racket. Has one pocket that can hold 5 or more magazines.
