They work great in any lower I have tried with the aluminum adapter.
I have read posts where it's hit or miss if using without the adapter, and it wasn't overly expensive so I opted to use one. |

if you don't use something like the Boonie Packer better mag adapter that lifts the bolt catch, the plastic magazine follower will become the bolt catch, and most likely suffer some damage over time...
I just wore out my first 15-22 mag, as the feed lips wore to the point that the cartridge was allowed to tip up too early.... probably 3000+ rounds |

I have had good luck with Black Dog Machine mags in my CMMG dedicated uppers.

The Boonie mag block has worked great for me in a CMMG dedicated setup. Love the 15-22 mags.

I use the catch 22 adapter and bolt hold open with great success-- love them!

I also love the Boonie Packer and use of the S&W mags. Much more reliable, easier to load, all around better. Win. Win. Win.
