I like the Spyderco Street Bowie, and wear it IWB behind my holster, but not attached to my gun belt. I wear the sheath tucked inside the trousers with the belt loop over the inner belt. I wear the outer gun belt separately, and this way I still have my blade on me if I take off my gun belt.
I do not like the idea of wearing a knife on the exterior of my armor, because in close quarters amongst a crowd, it is a tempting target for a take-away attempt. The Street Bowie is a neat, light and lively little blade that does good work as a medium duty utility knife as well. |
