Looking for a barrel rod and possibly guide for cleaning the barrel out. No I don't want to use a snake bore cleaner. Any suggestions?

If you have to have a rigid cleaning rod, use two sections of an M16 cleaning rod.

I took a G3 cleaning kit, and shortened the pull-chain bore snake to MP5 length... cleans the barrel, and maintains the purity.

Ive always just used a flexible pull through bore rod for everything, like the Otis stuff

Beyond my SD I clean MP5s like every other gun

Hkpro has a dedicated mp5 cleaning kit.
It's not cheap. The pouch says hk on it.
