Definitely looks Eastern Euro to me.  Dimensions?

Nothing definitive - but the one on the right might be an east German Makarov, left one maybe a Nagant?

After looking at some pics - I suspect both are Nagant holsters of different ages 1895 and 1901 models?

I'm pretty sure they're pistol holsters.

My first thought was nagant,

The leather doesn’t look as textured as the majority of the ones ive seen, but everything else looks about right

You're gonna have to by a nagant to see if it fits

They are German police holsters for 5" S&W revolvers. They were originally for the M1879 Reichsrevolver (the one on the right might still be) but were reconfigured as a make-do type of thing. The immediate post-war Germans did not waste leather.

I'd love to find a 4" one for one of my German police marked Victory models. I've seen one so they are out there.

I just keep my 5" .32-20 hand-ejector in it.
