I have searched high and low and have not found anything else online with a 1200 round tin.  Everything else is 900 or smaller.

Am I mistaken on what this is?

Any idea what it is worth these days?

Is it a single tin, or 2 600-rounders in a crate?

Yes, there were 1200 round crates.  It contains a single sealed tin, filled with 80x 15 round boxes.

Whoo-hoo, not a unicorn and it is on strippers too then.

Any idea what it is worth?    I ditched the Mauser a few weeks back and now this is just taking up shelf space.

1950's yugo 8mm doesn't have the best reputation (1970-1980s is more desirable). Hard primers and reports of cases splitting when being fired means it does not demand a premium. Just the ammo is worth about .30-45 cents and the stripper clips are worth about 1 dollar a piece.

This seems about right. I would say $550-650 total, $$450-$500 for the ammo, $100-$150 for the strippers and crate.

The little bit of 50's yugo I picked up somewhere hard really fucking hard primers, only worked in a rifle with a new firing pin spring.

I kind of have the same situation; don't shoot my Mausers much and have about 1000 rounds sitting around.

Too damn heavy to ship.  Guess I'll need to go buy another gun that's easier on the shoulder to shoot it all

Get yourself a slip on cushioned butt pad and wear a heavy jacket, FTW.
